Patapsco River Chapter History

The Patapsco River (MD) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated, chartered on March 31, 1990, promotes The Links, Incorporated's program facets in the spirit of friendship in the Greater Baltimore County community. The 43 active members in the Chapter include women who have demonstrated leadership in a variety of professions, which  include the arts, education, genealogy, entrepreneurship, military science, health and medicine, journalism, religion, sociology and law. All are civic minded, caring, and committed to enriching the lives of others and working together toward achieving common goals. The chapter utilizes funds acquired through its fundraising activities to support its various programs and activities, and to provide scholarships to Baltimore County high school graduates. Through the years, the chapter has supported the following and others through contributions and volunteer services:
