THE PRC Scholars Scholarship program

Do you have what it takes to be a PRC Scholar? PRC Scholars are eligible to receive $10,000 ($2500 per year for up to 4 years) AND receive a mentor/cheerleader to provide support throughout the scholar’s college career and beyond. Applications for the 2024 Scholarship Award are now closed.

Criteria

To be considered for a Patapsco River (MD) Chapter scholarship award, the applicant must:

• be a permanent resident of Baltimore County;

• be a graduating senior from a Baltimore County high school (public, private, or charter);

• be accepted to enter an accredited HBCU as a full‐time student in the academic year immediately following the scholarship award;

• complete the application in accordance with the application guidelines;

• provide official high school transcript;

• provide a letter of recommendation from a teacher, administrator or counselor;

• provide a letter of acceptance to a HBCU;

• have a scholastic average of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale through the end of the second quarter of the 2023-24 academic year.
